Alright, Macbeth didn’t actually sleep here. Start at the beginning. Mollington is the name of this village near Chester. Robert Banastre was given it by Edward I in the 12th century. The present manor house was built in 1853 and it is stunning. Begin building today and you could never afford the craftsmanship, the roominess or the whole decor. So forget the bed factories and come and soak up some real luxury at one of the finest Chester hotels.
